The Johor Bahru Foon Yew basketball team has been around for 63 years. In our hearts, the basketball team represents youth and vitality. Here, there are the footprints of many boys who are passionate about basketball.

In the growing years of each player, there is someone who helped them enter the world of basketball, whether it be a father, an older brother, or a player somewhere on this Earth. The basketball team is a place to discover and showcase our basketball talents.

The excitement of scoring a spectacular dunk and the thrilling process of dribbling. Life is like a challenging shot, only for that splendid moment of joy, but it requires repeated trials and tribulations. Although the weekly practices at school are tough, having encouraging teammates by our side gives us the motivation to persevere, even if our legs become weak from training. Playing basketball in a team that values love, sharing, and caring for each other is precious. The annual team training not only hones our skills but also strengthens our bond with teammates. During the training, we are serious together, rest together, and laugh together. At that moment, you will realize that basketball is not just basketball; it is an irreplaceable taste.

In 2020, an unexpected pandemic caught us off guard. During the citywide lockdown, Teacher Zheng Weiyi and the captains worked tirelessly to prepare online fitness and dribbling exercises for us, allowing us to continuously improve our physical condition. Two years have passed, and we have all grown up. Regardless of the circumstances, our passion and vitality for basketball remain unchanged.

In the future, when flipping through photo albums during leisure time, seeing our past selves who worked hard and the teammates around us, we will recall the days of sweating together, the days filled with laughter, and the battles we fought together in competitions. It will surely bring back a flood of memories.

The basketball team, it makes us grow, brings us joy, and is our lifelong love. Without us, there would be no current basketball team; without the basketball team, there would be no us now. Basketball may seem ordinary, but it enriches our simple and plain lives.

新山宽柔篮球队自成立以来已有六十三年。 在我们心中,篮球队意味着青春与活力。在这里,有着太多太多对篮球充满热爱的男孩的足迹。 

每一位球员在成长的岁月里,都有一位帮助自己踏入篮球这项运动的启蒙者。这个人也许 是父亲、哥哥,亦或是在这个地球上的某一位球员。而篮球队是一个发掘并施展我们篮球才华的地方。 

灌篮的精彩喜出望外,运球的过程也惊险连连,人生何尝不是一次曲折的投篮,只为那心仪 一刻的绚烂,却又要经过反复历练的煎熬。每个星期的留校练习虽然艰苦,但是身边有了互相鼓励的队友,哪怕是练得双腿发软,也会有一股强烈想要坚持下去的动力。 

在一个彼此友爱、乐于分享、互相关心的团队里打球,是难能可贵的。每年篮球队的集训是 磨练自己,更是拉近与队友关系的好机会。集训中,大家一起认真、一起休息、一起笑。在这一刻,你会发现篮球不只是篮球,而是一份无可替代的滋味。 

2020年一场突如其来的疫情使人猝不及防,在全城大封锁的当儿,维翊老师和队长们不辞劳苦的为我们筹备线上体能和运球练习,让我们持续更新我们的身体状态。两年的飞逝,我们 也都长大了,不论怎么样,不变的还是我们对篮球的热情与活力。 

日后,在空闲之余翻起相册,看见那个曾经努力的自己以及身边的队友们,便会忆起那些一 起流过的汗水、一起欢声笑语的日子、一起征战过的比赛,想必你会倍感交集。 

篮球队,它让我们成长,带给我们快乐,更是我们一生的挚爱。没有我们,就没有现在的篮球队;没有篮球队,就没有现在的我们。篮球看似平凡,却丰富了我们朴实无华的生活。 

犹豫就会败北,所以千万别停下!
