2020 was a special year. It marked the 42nd year since the establishment of the women's basketball school team, and this year, we also welcomed the first batch of juniors from the Zhi Da Cheng branch to join the women's basketball school team family. Although they will transfer to Zhi Da Cheng branch next year, these small gestures will serve as motivation for each team member to persevere. The acquaintance this year allowed us to learn from each other's basketball skills, and when we meet on the court in the inter-school competition, we can see each other's progress and changes over the year.

In 2019, we participated in the county-level basketball championship organized by Johor Basketball Association for players aged 17 and below, narrowly missing the championship and settling for second place. This year, we hit a low point and only secured a spot in the top four, ending with third place. Although our performance declined, in life, there will always be regrets, which contribute to our growth, right? Sometimes, what matters is not the outcome but the feeling of striving and progressing together with teammates.

Over the years, despite experiencing defeats, we have not been shattered by them. In order to achieve victory in every game and even win the championship, we will put in our maximum effort and energy in every practice. Whenever a teammate is tired or on the verge of giving up, someone will always step up, shout words of encouragement, and offer high-fives.

Every year, we set goals for ourselves and the team. This year is no exception. In May, we will participate in the triennial national inter-school sports championship. In the previous edition, we missed the opportunity to compete at the national level. This time, we will firmly seize the chance, fight until the last moment, and never give up. "The best state is not how good you are today, but how you become better every day through effort." We hope that in every upcoming competition, every team member can bring out their best state and perform well in every game. Women's basketball, let's go!

2020年是特别的一年。今年是女子篮球校队成立的第42年,同时今年我们也迎来了至达城分校的第一批学妹们加入女子篮球校队这个大家庭。虽然她们明年将会转到至达城分校就读,但这些小小的举动都将成为每个队员坚持下去的动力。但是今年的相识,让我们互相切磋球技,等到以后在独中杯赛场 上交手时,也可以看看彼此之间的进步以及大家在一年来的改变。 

2019年,由新山篮总所举办的县内17岁及以下篮球锦标赛, 我们与冠军擦身而过,获得了亚军。今年的我们更是跌入低谷, 只拿着四强的门票,以季军告终。虽然我们的战绩下滑了,但是人生总该会留下一些遗憾,你才会成长吧?有时候重要的不是结果,而是与队友们一起拼搏、一起晋级的心情。 

这些年来,我们虽然有战败,但我们却并不会因此而被击垮。为了获取每一场球赛的胜利, 甚至夺得最后的冠军,我们都会付出自己最大的努力与精力去完成每一次的练习。每当队友 累了或是要倒下的瞬间,总会有人站出来大喊加油并给予击掌, 

每年,我们都会为自己也为球队设立目标。今年当然也不例外。今年的五月,我们即将参加三年一次的全柔独中球类锦标赛。上一届的比赛,我们错过了全国赛的机会,这一届,我们一定会牢牢抓住机会,拼到最后一刻,绝不放弃。“最好的状态不是今天的你有多好,而是经过努力,每一天的你都比之前更好。”希望接下来的每一个赛会,所有队员都能把自己最好的状态拿出来, 打好每一场球赛。女篮,加油!
