A basketball team, like any other group or organization, is formed and sustained by a group of individuals working together. The Foon Yew Men's Basketball Team, which has been established for decades, has grown strong and nurtured numerous talents in the basketball world through the collective efforts of its members. It is our pride.

Basketball is a sport that requires unity. Teammates who were once strangers come together on the court, supporting and fighting alongside each other, and they soon become close friends. Diligent training is essential for improving basketball skills, and amidst the hard work, we have learned to find joy and camaraderie. Training sessions become moments of enjoyment, serving as a respite from the pressures of academics.

We have chosen this path because we all love basketball! The road to success is challenging, and many aspire to shine on this stage, but only a few achieve it. Regardless of success or failure, what is truly valuable are the memories we create, the mischievous camaraderie, the indomitable spirit of not accepting defeat and not fearing hardships, which make us stronger in facing everything life throws at us.

Regardless of how others perceive the basketball team, let's all work harder to support each other, support the team, and bring more honor to our school. Let's strive together for our own growth and for the glory of the basketball team, making it shine once again!

一个团体,一支队伍,都是由一群人所组成且努力维持的篮球队亦是如此。成立了几十年的宽中男子篮球队在大家的努力下早已茁壮成长,培育了无数篮坛英才,它是我们的骄傲。 

篮球是一项需要团结的运动,队员从一开始互不相识,到后来在球场上互相扶持、共同奋斗,早已结成好友。为了提升篮球的水平,刻苦的训练是不可或缺的, 而大家也学会了在苦中作乐,练球时也玩在一块儿,在繁重的功课压力下,练球也成了生活中的调剂品。

大家立所以会选择这条路,是因为大家都热爱篮球吧!成功的路不好走,许多人都想在这个舞台大放异彩,可是成功的相信也不多。不论成功与否,更值得珍惜的是那些回忆,那副调皮铁骨,那股不服输、不惧苦的精神,让人更坚强的面对生活中的一切。 

不论他人对篮球队有何评价,希望大家都能更加努力地支持这个队伍,支持彼此,为学校带来更多的荣誉,为自己、学校努力奋斗,让篮球队再度发光发热!
