In May 2014, the coach led two teams to participate in the 2014 Johor Bahru County 016 Tournament held at the Larkin Indoor Sports Complex. These two teams were Foon Yew A and Foon Yew B. Among them, Foon Yew A successfully made it to the top six, but unfortunately stopped at the semifinals with regrets. On the other hand, Foon Yew B's strength was not enough to advance, and they were eliminated before reaching the top six. Although both teams couldn't successfully advance, they had put in their maximum effort.

On May 28th, the players welcomed the long-awaited Foon Yew Cup Inter-School Basketball Tournament. This tournament was hosted by our school, and as the host, we had prepared diligently and eagerly for this grand event. During the tournament, we narrowly defeated Ma Jun Chinese Independent High School with a score of 48-41, and subsequently won the match against Bukit Panjang High School, making it to the top six. Regrettably, we were eliminated at the top six stage after losing to SMJK Pei Yuan and SMJK Confucian. At the end of 2014, after concluding our training, we traveled to Malacca to participate in the 2nd Inter-School Four-School Basketball Tournament (Friendly Match). In this competition, the players gave their all to showcase the results of their training and demonstrated significant improvement in both offense and defense.

In February 2015, we welcomed the annual MSSD Johor Bahru County School Sports Council Basketball Championship. After going through one intense match after another, the players lived up to expectations and secured the championship title. Subsequently, the players advanced to the MSSJ (State) competition, competing against teams from other districts, including Pontian. In this tournament, the players grew significantly stronger and managed to bring glory to the school and Johor Bahru County, clinching the second place. This breakthrough was met with praises and applause, and their efforts and hard work were duly recognized.

In March 2015, with frequent competitions, the players encountered another Johor Bahru County competition. They also participated in the U20 invitation tournament in Kluang. Undoubtedly, this was quite exhausting for the players, but they remained spirited and gave their all in each game. After a series of elimination matches, they faced PG team in the Johor Bahru County top four, and with a close defeat of 3 points, they advanced to the third-place playoffs. Remarkably, the players secured third place, achieving a symbolic breakthrough. Additionally, the players achieved remarkable results in the Kluang competition, also securing third place. The team's success as the third-place winners in both tournaments is a clear testament to their efforts and perseverance.

2014年5月,教练接出两支队伍参加在拉 2014拉庆室内体育馆举办的新山县016比 赛,分别是宽中A和宽中B。这两队当中,宽中A 成功抵过了六强赛,最终仍抱有遗憾地止步于四强赛;反之宽中B的战力不足在六强赛之前被淘汰 了。虽然两队都无法成功晋级,但已是尽了最大的 努力。

5月28日,队员们迎来准备已久的全柔独中杯球 类赛。此次的球类赛在本校举行,身为东道主的我 们早已磨學搞掌,心致勃勃德准备迎接这场盛大庄 产的赛事。期间,我们曾以48比41的比分险胜麻 竣中化中学,之后也成功赢得和笨珍培群中学的 角逐赛,力抵六强。遗憾的,我们仍止步于六强 赛,在败给言样华仁中学与居篮中华中学后,遗憾 退场。2014年年尾,我们结束集训之后便前往马 六甲参加第二届四校联赛(友谊 赛)。在此次的比赛中,队员们 都网尽全力将集训的成果显现出 来,并在进攻与防守上有显著的进步。

2015年2月,我们便迎来一年一度的MSSD新山 县学联篮球员。经历过一场又一场的热血斗队 员们不负众望,揭下冠军奖牌。随后,队员们晋级 州赛(MSSJ),远赴笨珍和其他队伍一较高下, 决雌雄。在这场赛事中,队员们成长了不少也变得 更加强大,成功为学校,为新山县争光,夺得第二 名。队员们这一跳跃性的突破,成功获得许多赞美 与掌声,所付出过的努力与汗水也获得了肯定。

2015年3月,赛事频繁,队员们又迎来新山县。 U20的比赛,同时亦得兼颜古来县U20邀请赛。 > 对队员们来说无疑是非常疲惫的,但队员们仍打 十二分精神应付每一场比赛。经过一场又一场的海 汰赛,在新山县四强赛中对垒PG球队,以输3分的 趋势晋级季殿赛,值得光荣的是,队员们成功揭下 季军,又成为一象征性的突破。同时,队员们在古 来县的比赛也取得傲人的成绩,同样成为季军得 主。本队成功成为两场赛事中的季军得主,这绝对 足以证明队员们的努力与坚持。
