Basketball is widely defined as a round, elastic ball. But for us, it's a friend, a good companion. Basketball games bring us visual, auditory, and sensory enjoyment, and they provide us with mental and physical impact. We are the men's basketball team.

This good companion has been generous to us. It introduced us to ironclad physicians and made us known as "black people" in everyone's mouth, but we never give up on this friend. It brought together a group of boys who had no connection before. It made us lose some things but gained precious friendship in return.

Through our hard work and intense practice, we have built humor between us, strengthened our friendship, and created a remarkable legacy for the team over the decades since its establishment. We are greedy, and thus, we are never satisfied. We yearn for a stronger friendship, more glory, and a continuous succession of crowns on us throughout our short six-year journey in Foon Yew. We aim to be included in all the award records!

Don't be fooled by our group of boys who fear neither defeat nor hardship. Sometimes, we also need the support, encouragement, and guidance of friends, family, and mentors to boost our morale and further transform and elevate ourselves during the growth process.

With more than 7,000 people in the school campus and over 20 different clubs and societies, we choose to gather together. Not for any particular reason, but because there is an uncompromising place for basketball in our hearts. We are not fools; we know that the path of basketball is not easy. However, when you see a group of "foolish boys" who have each other's backs and teachers willing to join hands with you, the obstacles and setbacks along the way will seem insignificant.

We are proud to be part of the Foon Yew men's basketball team. We hope that this basketball team, which has stood for decades, will continue to make steady progress and forever write a glorious chapter in its history.

篮球,广泛定义为呈圆状富有弹性的球。但是对于我们, 它是朋友,好伙伴。篮球赛,带给人的是视听觉上的享受, 给我们的是精神肉体上的冲击。我们就是男子篮球队。 

这位好伙伴对我们可不薄。它让我们认识了铁打医师, 让我们成为人人口中的“黑人”,但我们从不放弃这为朋友。就因为它,让我们这群原本没有交集的小子联系在一 起。它让我们失去了一些东西,却换来了这份珍贵的友情。 

平日拼了老命,吃奶力的辛苦练习,建立起了我们之间的幽默,巩固了我们的友谊,缔造了球队成立以来几十年的显赫功勋。我们是贪心的,因此我们从未满足。我们奢望的是要更坚韧的友谊,更多的荣耀,在宽中短短的六年生涯里,不断不断的持续加冕在我们身上,在所有的得奖记录中! 

别看我们这群不怕输,不怕苦的硬朗男孩,有时也需要朋友,家人及导师的支持,鼓励,才能让我们鼓足干劲, 在成长的阶段上,进一步蜕变,升华! 

七千多人的大学园,二十多种不同的学会社团,我们却偏偏聚在一起。不为了什么,就因为我们心中有个不可妥协的位置留给篮球。我们不是傻子,我们也知道篮球这条路不好走,但看看身边有一群肝胆相照的“傻小子”, 还有老师,愿意与你携手共进,你的会认为路上的障碍挫折,根本不算什么。 

我们因为身在宽中男子篮球队而倍感骄傲自豪。希望这支屹立几十年的篮球队,一步一个脚印,永远续写一页 光辉历史。
